Position: Grocery Store Clerk I (Full-Time)

Department: Grocery

Responsibilities:

1. Arrive at work with a positive and professional demeanor.

2. Efficiently package customer purchases and provide exceptional service during transactions.

3. When required, process customer transactions on the point of sale system, maintaining a checkout speed of 35 items per minute.

4. Be reliable for all scheduled shifts.

5. Deliver customer service that meets the highest standards, ensuring prompt, friendly, and efficient interactions.

6. Perform housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, stocking, and organizing shelves according to merchandising guidelines.

7. Assist with inventory counts and unloading deliveries as assigned.

8. Operate and maintain equipment safely and responsibly.

9. Follow all company policies and procedures diligently.

10. Adhere to loss prevention, security, and safety protocols, remaining vigilant against unauthorized merchandise removal and reporting any incidents to a supervisor.

11. Deliver customer orders as required.

Requirements:

A positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills and an energetic personality. Excellent customer service abilities. Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings and weekends. Willingness to enhance skills through training opportunities. Physically capable of performing heavy lifting tasks. A strong desire and ability to engage with the public. A valid driver's license is considered an asset.
