Job Title: Plumber

Lambert Plumbing & Heating Ltd. is seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems, including water supply networks and waste and drainage systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for plumbing projects
  • Instruct apprentices in plumbing techniques and best practices
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
  • Schedule personnel, tools, and equipment for plumbing projects
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
  • Supervise other workers on plumbing projects
  • Estimate costs and materials for plumbing projects
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems for plumbing design and planning
Requirements:
  • Plumber Red Seal Certificate
  • Valid driver's licence
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in plumbing
