About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at LE CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE. As a key member of our outdoor spaces team, you will be responsible for planning and directing grounds maintenance, organizing construction projects, and supervising a team of 3-4 people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to ensure the upkeep of our outdoor spaces.
  • Organize Construction Projects: Oversee the construction of decks, decorative walls, and other landscape features, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Supervise Team Members: Lead and mentor a team of 3-4 people, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to excel in their roles.
  • Maintain Work Records: Accurately record and maintain work logs, including materials, equipment, and supplies used.
  • Requisition Materials: Order and manage the procurement of necessary materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and implement efficient work schedules and procedures to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
Work Environment

This role requires working outdoors in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be handling heavy loads, working in physically demanding conditions, and requiring attention to detail. You must be able to distinguish between colors and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
