Job Title: Housekeeping Cleaner

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Cleaner to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a Housekeeping Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our patients, residents, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of patient rooms, common areas, and other facilities
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting
  • Operate manual and electrical cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and floor buffers
  • Restock cleaning supplies and maintain a clean and organized storage area
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve cleaning goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy cleaning equipment and supplies

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, working 7.75 hours per day, 5 days per week. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
