Key Responsibilities- Selecting the appropriate type of insulation for each project, taking into account factors such as climate, building design, and budget.
- Measuring and cutting insulation materials to the required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools.
- Applying and securing insulation using various methods, including spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping, and other application and installation methods.
- Fitting insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs to ensure a tight seal.
- Fabricating and applying removable insulation pads and covers to protect surfaces and ensure easy access for maintenance.
- Assembling, erecting, and dismantling scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment to access hard-to-reach areas.
- Removing asbestos, ceramic fibers, lead, and mold and urea-formaldehyde insulation materials from buildings in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
- 1-2 years of experience in insulation installation and removal.
- Permanent employment with a competitive salary and benefits package.
- English language proficiency as the primary language of communication.
- 40 hours per week of work, with regular breaks and time off for rest and relaxation.
