Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Ready-Mix Specialist to join our team at Moncton Plant. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a ready-mix truck to deliver concrete to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Pre-Trip Inspections: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Equipment Operation: Adjust equipment, valves, pumps, and controls to process equipment and mix chemicals and cements.
  • Material Handling: Handle, sort, and move drill pipes, tools, cement, and other materials safely and efficiently.
  • Transportation: Operate a ready-mix truck to deliver concrete to customers, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, requiring attention to detail, handling heavy loads, and working in a dusty environment.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with overtime required as needed.
