About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our housekeeping team at Best Western Smiths Falls Hotel. As a Hotel Room Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, clean and disinfect elevators, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, handle and report lost and found items, and address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure the security and safety of our guests and staff by following all hotel policies and procedures.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff to ensure the efficient operation of the department.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, attention to detail, flexibility, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
