About the Job

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team at East Ridge Family Dental in Owen Sound.

As a key member of our dental team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and delivering top-notch dental services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform dental hygiene procedures including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing
  • Record patient data and conduct oral health assessments
  • Provide patients with simple terms on oral hygiene techniques and take dental X-rays as needed
  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures and maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High-level knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and ability to discuss treatment plans with patients professionally and effectively
  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and familiarity with Dental office management software (Tracker knowledge is an asset)
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering patient trust and satisfaction
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be registered with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO) and maintain a valid CPR/First Aid certification
