Job Summary:

The Service Technician is a key member of our team at Brogan Safety Supplies, responsible for providing top-notch service and support to our customers. As a Service Technician, you will be the face of our company, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that their safety equipment is properly maintained and certified.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Maintenance and Certification: Manage, test, repair, and re-certify customer-owned equipment according to manufacturer specifications and local standards.
  • Customer Service: Arrange for customer authorization of work orders, maintain adequate stock levels in mobile units, and create and maintain accurate records such as vehicle inspections, driving logs, equipment inspections, and schedules.
  • Business Development: Develop and manage growth in the portfolio by working closely with customers, our Sales department, and Management.
  • Team Support: Assist other staff with their duties when schedule and workload allow.

Requirements:

  • Professionalism: Professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshooting skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.
  • Training and Certification: Manufacturer training in inspection and maintenance of safety-related equipment or industry training would be an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Able to lift up to 50 pounds periodically.
