POSITION SUMMARY

Compensation: $18/hour

We are seeking a driven Retail Sales Specialist to effectively represent our clients in the retail sector. This role is part-time and provides a unique opportunity to leverage your retail sales expertise in a strategic manner through direct sales, merchandising, and point-of-sale placement.

As a vital member of our sales team, you will engage with clients across the Grocery, Gas, and Convenience Retail Channels to implement and communicate sales and merchandising strategies, promotions, and guidelines. Your performance will be measured by your ability to identify volume opportunities, deliver exceptional customer service, provide product information, and ensure optimal product distribution and visibility.

Your strong communication and sales skills, paired with your enthusiasm and exceptional presentation abilities, will be key to your success. You are highly organized, a natural problem solver, and possess a talent for building robust relationships with clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct handheld reporting
  • Facilitate new product placements
  • Maintain 100% distribution of existing products
  • Ensure compliance with shelving guidelines and plan-o-grams
  • Perform pricing audits
  • Construct displays and position point-of-sale materials
  • Foster relationships with store personnel
  • Negotiate product placements
  • Communicate client information and promotional activities

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in retail territory management is preferred
  • Strong relationship-building and persuasive communication skills
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficient in using digital technology (handheld devices, cameras, etc.)
  • Must have access to a reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license, and a safe driving record that meets insurance requirements
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs, and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and reaching regularly
  • Capable of driving for extended periods
  • Ability to store sample products and manage racking
  • Access to high-speed internet is essential
