We are seeking proactive Campus Security Officers to deliver exceptional service to our clients, employees, and visitors while addressing traditional security challenges. Your vigilance and attention to detail will be vital to our success. Here, your contributions are valued as much as your unique qualities, and we are committed to supporting you in your endeavors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the security and safety of all premises, clients, and staff.
  • Greet and acknowledge visitors in accordance with company standards.
  • Manage access control for the facility.
  • Safeguard the property by conducting regular patrols and reporting any hazards or deficiencies.
  • Complete thorough incident reports as necessary.
  • Utilize security equipment effectively, including radios, cameras, and electronic locking systems.
  • Act as a member of the Emergency Response Team.
  • Document incidents of accidents, complaints, criminal activities, and emergencies.
  • Record all actions in an electronic Shift Activity Log.
  • Familiarity with Fire and Life Safety systems.
  • Availability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
  • A proven ability to thrive in high-pressure situations.
  • Possession of a valid provincial Security Guard License.
  • Current First Aid, CPR Level C, and AED certifications.
  • Knowledge of Municipal, Provincial, and Federal regulations, particularly the Trespass to Property Act.
  • Completion of WHMIS and other safety training is an asset.
  • Experience with CCure and IndigoVision is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
