Landscape Labourer Job Description

Eco Friendly M is seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, tying and securing plants, and performing various tasks to maintain our green spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Tie and secure plants to ensure they are properly anchored.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain their health and appearance.
  • Cut grass and rake and collect refuse to keep our outdoor spaces clean and tidy.
  • Remove litter and garbage to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed.
  • Lay sod or seed to maintain our lawns and gardens.
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance our outdoor spaces.
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they receive the necessary care.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment to perform various tasks.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and work in physically demanding environments.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail to perform tasks accurately.
  • Hand-eye coordination to operate equipment safely.
  • Ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and bending positions.
  • Availability to work on the road and in various outdoor environments.
