Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate costs and materials for production.

  • Prepare bids and production reports.

  • Enforce health and safety regulations to maintain a safe workplace.
  • Oversee the operations of the shop, ensuring efficiency and quality.
  • Order necessary materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Set up and maintain machines and equipment.
  • Supervise a team of skilled workers, ensuring project completion.
  • Operate and manage CNC machinery.
Team Management

You will be responsible for supervising a team of 11-15 individuals, including:

  • Labourers
  • Machine Operators
  • Machinists and Tooling Inspectors
  • Sheet Metal Workers
  • Trades Helpers
  • Welders
Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Certificates in First Aid, Occupational Health and Safety, and WHMIS.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field.
Work Environment

This role is set in a noisy shop environment, requiring attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
