Job Summary

Connective is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our community housing program, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals living semi-independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to promote independence and well-being.
  • Provide life skills training and behavior management support to residents.
  • Collaborate with community service providers, government agencies, and First Nations organizations to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Respond to crisis situations and provide emergency support as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Social Services or related field, with one year of experience preferred.
  • Professional or lived experience working with vulnerable populations.
  • Ability to respond effectively in crisis situations.
  • High level of motivation, flexibility, and sensitivity to residents.
