Kitchen Helper Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Dimitri's Pizza Steak & Seafood. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Place dishes in storage areas, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas to ensure seamless service.
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, adhering to our strict health and safety protocols.
  • Keep accurate records of food quantities used, supporting our inventory management.
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet our high culinary standards.
  • Utilize manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, maintaining a safe and efficient workflow.
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Handle and store cleaning products safely and responsibly.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, adhering to our quality control standards.
Requirements:
  • Will train on the job, so no prior experience is necessary.
