About the Role

MPCS is seeking a skilled Housekeeping Professional to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, and clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including vacuuming carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Clean and disinfect elevators and perform other facilities maintenance duties as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Work in a variety of settings, including employer's/client's home, cleaning service company, industrial facility or establishment, and commercial building.
  • Certifications: Housekeeping room attendant certification.
  • Security Clearance: Basic security clearance.
  • Transportation: Willing to travel.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work independently, work under pressure, and have attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
