Job Title: Coach

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Coach to join our team at Kelowna Gymnastix. As a Coach, you will be responsible for leading our competitive programs and developing training and practice sessions to help our athletes achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate competitive programs and develop training and practice sessions to help athletes achieve their goals
  • Motivate and prepare athletes for competitive events and games
  • Analyze and evaluate athletes' performance and provide feedback for improvement
  • Teach and demonstrate athletic, fitness, and sports activities and techniques
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and maintain a safe and healthy environment for athletes
  • Co-ordinate work activities with other departments and understand principles of group dynamics
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a coaching or related role
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
