Water Resources Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer

Collage HR is looking for a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer to enhance our Dam Engineering Group.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee project management and engineering tasks for dam and water control structure initiatives.
  • Perform site evaluations and inspections of dams and water control systems.
  • Develop technical documentation, including reports and specifications.
  • Guide engineers, graduates, and designers on projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Assist in business development and marketing strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a specialization in structural, water resources, or geotechnical engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario.
  • 5 years of experience for Project Engineer; 10 years of experience for Senior Project Engineer.
  • Familiarity with relevant dam safety regulations and practices.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with stability assessments for concrete gravity dams.
  • Knowledge of ESRI ArcMap GIS software.
  • Experience in hydrology studies and modeling.
  • Proficiency in 1D and 2D hydraulic modeling.
  • Experience in designing for dam rehabilitation or replacement projects.
