Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Farm Laborer to join our team at Puneet Orchards. As a Farm Laborer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to crop growth and maintenance, including applying fertilizers, monitoring water lines, and operating farm machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Crop Management: Apply fertilizers, dose water saturation, light, and temperature as instructed for crop growth and development.
  • Harvesting: Hand harvesting vegetables, harvest seedlings, pick row and orchard crops, and pack fruits and vegetables.
  • Maintenance: Maintain and manage growth of vines, vine canopy, and grapes, mix fertilizer, and clean work area.
  • Monitoring: Monitor water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns, and detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry.
  • Operations: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, and farm produce, livestock, and poultry.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
