About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Les Entreprises L. & C. Jolibois Inc. as a key member of our maintenance and repair team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Conduct thorough inspections and tests to identify faults and malfunctions in automotive systems.
  • Repair and Replace Parts: Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Estimate and Provide Quotes: Accurately estimate parts and labor costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs, providing clear and transparent quotes to customers.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance: Carry out routine maintenance services to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
  • Test and Adjust Units: Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications, ensuring quality and reliability.
  • Provide Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers, advising them on work performed and future repair requirements.
  • Record and Report: Complete detailed reports to record problems and work performed, maintaining accurate records for future reference.
  • Coach and Train: Provide guidance and instruction to apprentices, sharing knowledge and expertise to support their development.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Possess a Registered Apprenticeship certificate and relevant industry experience.
  • Language and Communication: Fluency in English or French, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Availability and Relocation: Be available to start immediately and willing to relocate for this position.
