Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at Winnipeg Dig & Demolition Inc. As a Bobcat Specialist, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, conducting pre-operational checks, and performing minor repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Heavy Equipment: Safely operate bobcats and other heavy equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and lubricate equipment, refill tanks, and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Pre-Operational Checks: Conduct thorough checks on equipment before use to prevent accidents and ensure safety.
  • Minor Repairs: Perform basic repairs to equipment to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
Work Environment

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will work outdoors in a physically demanding environment. You must be able to work in a fast-paced setting and maintain attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in heavy equipment operation or equivalent experience.
  • Work Conditions: Physically demanding work environment with attention to detail required.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
