About the Role:

The Lot Attendant plays a vital role in supporting the Service Department at Trotman Auto Group. This position involves assisting with service check-in, valeting vehicles, and providing general lot supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comply with company policies, local, provincial, and federal laws, including those governing road safety and health and safety.
  • Accept new vehicle shipments from carriers and ensure they are free from damage.
  • Manage the flow of traffic for the dealership lots, new and used car sales, and the general service area.
  • Perform general wash and vacuum services for stationary new vehicle inventory.
  • Ensure the front line of vehicles on the lot, showroom, and display area are cleaned and organized.
  • Hang window stickers on inventory immediately after stocking.
  • Clean and move vehicles in and out of the showroom as needed.
  • Maintain lot order, including designated customer parking areas.
  • Ensure all washes, clean-ups, and details meet the highest level of quality control.
  • Ensure pre-owned vehicles awaiting re-conditioning are organized and accessible for the Service department.
  • Communicate effectively with Department Managers to ensure all lot duties are completed in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an Automotive Lot/Wash Bay Attendant is preferred but not required.
  • Valid Class 5 or Class 7 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract.
  • Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • Strong communication skills.
