Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technologist to join our Anesthesia team at Guardian Veterinary Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting with surgical procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with surgical preparations, patient recovery, and anesthesia procedures
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Provide compassionate care to hospitalized patients and their pet parents
- Manage multiple priorities simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Develop and maintain strong problem-solving skills and exceptional interpersonal skills
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary technology
Requirements:
- Completion of a Veterinary Technologist or Animal Health Technologist program
- Experience with CRIs, TIVA, and other advanced anesthesia techniques
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with pet parents
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
- Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with industry developments
