Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Engineering Team in Richmond, BC.

As a key member of our team, you will work on our award-winning digital platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and develop software components and services for PressReader applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality software components and services for PressReader applications.
  • Collaborate with teammates to estimate project efforts and timelines for delivery.
  • Identify technical, schedule, and other potential project risks, providing feedback.
  • Actively communicate with project stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.
  • Coach and/or mentor junior engineers on the team.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in C# and SQL.
  • Experience with test-driven development and agile/iterative development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of modern front-end development frameworks (Angular, React, or ).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
