Job Summary

The Loss Prevention Supervisor is a critical role within the PET VALU organization, responsible for safeguarding company assets and preventing theft, fraud, and other losses. This position requires a strong analytical mind, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to prevent theft and loss
  • Oversee the physical security of the Distribution Centre, including monitoring and maintaining security equipment
  • Train employees to acquire a culture of preventing loss within the DC
  • Investigate internal and external theft and fraud, conducting interviews as necessary
  • Manage employee, vendor, and visitor access within the Distribution Centre
  • Coordinate security equipment installations, repairs, and service calls
  • Establish baseline KPIs and reports to support the Warehouse Management System and improve inventory accuracy
Requirements
  • 3+ years of Loss Prevention Distribution Centre experience
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
  • Experience investigating and conducting internal theft/fraud interviews
  • Wicklander and Zulawski or similar designations are an asset
  • Experience with security equipment such as intrusion, access control, and CCTV systems
