Senior Editor, Content Updates

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Editor, Content Updates to join our team at Launch Potato. As a Senior Editor, Content Updates, you will be responsible for updating our library of published content to improve user experience, boost monetization, and drive additional traffic through improved rankings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Relentlessly review and update published SEO content for factual accuracy, user experience, and subject-matter expertise.
  • Ensure all updated content adheres to our style, sourcing, and compliance guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain update-related documentation for our team.
  • Work closely with the Editorial Team to improve your knowledge and skills through their feedback and mentorship.
  • Grow and foster the FinanceBuzz brand as a top destination for personal finance information and education.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in a digital editor or writer role.
  • A passion for creating high-quality, high-performance content.
  • Expertise in some area of personal finance and a familiarity with compliance.
  • An ability to work and make decisions independently.
  • Experience working within a CMS (WordPress, Drupal, etc.).
  • Experience with Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Asana (or Airtable or Trello).
  • A clear understanding of how search engine optimization works.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML is a plus.
