Position Overview

The role of a Room Maintenance Specialist is crucial in ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for guests. This position involves various cleaning tasks that contribute to the overall guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Floor Care: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain cleanliness.
  • Furniture Care: Dust and clean furniture to ensure a tidy appearance.
  • Carpet and Upholstery: Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Bedding Management: Make beds and change sheets regularly.
  • Supply Distribution: Distribute clean towels and toiletries to guest rooms.
  • Linen Management: Stock the linen closet with necessary supplies.
  • Fixture Cleaning: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Specialized Cleaning: Disinfect operating rooms and other designated areas.
  • Elevator Maintenance: Clean and disinfect elevators to ensure hygiene.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items responsibly.
  • Guest Assistance: Provide basic information on facilities to guests.
  • Waste Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers regularly.
  • Window and Wall Cleaning: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings as needed.
  • Changing Room Care: Clean changing rooms and showers to maintain hygiene.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns professionally.
Qualifications

Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.

Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
