Job Summary

Chad Johnston is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our client's home.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, launder clothing and household linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls and ceilings.
  • Support and Assistance: Provide support and assistance to our clients, including helping with daily tasks and errands, assisting with meal preparation and cleanup, and providing companionship and social interaction.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Communicate effectively with our clients, their families, and our team members, and work collaboratively to ensure the highest level of care and support.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Work Experience: Will train.
  • Work Setting: Work in employer's/client's home, optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check required.
  • Transportation and Travel: Travel expenses paid by employer, public transportation available.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, reliability.
