Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Report any changes in a resident's mental or physical health to the on-call nurse
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of resident care plans
  • Adhere to standards and regulations in accordance with private seniors' home certification and employer policies
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide first aid when necessary
Requirements:
  • PDSB training
  • Up-to-date CPR/AED training certificates
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to resident care
