Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at Halton Healthcare. As a key member of our clinical nutrition team, you will play a vital role in providing expert nutrition care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments to identify patient needs and develop personalized care plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement and evaluate nutrition care plans, ensuring optimal patient outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in clinical nutrition, applying this knowledge to improve patient care
  • Design and deliver education sessions to healthcare staff and patients, promoting nutrition awareness and best practices
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement nutrition-related policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field, with completion of an accredited dietetic internship program
  • Registration with the College of Dietitians of Ontario and membership with Dietitians of Canada (an asset)
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a Special Care Nursery and Pediatrics setting, with expertise in neonatal parenteral nutrition support and Pasteurized Donor Milk Program
  • Experience with enteral and parenteral nutrition support required
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing patient needs and healthcare landscape

  • Competitive hourly rate: $38.846 to $54.782
  • Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts (hours subject to change)
