We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Applications Engineering to lead our global product team in the development and support of our best-in-class Connectivity solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the design, adoption, and customer support of our innovative products.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a global product team of applications engineers to develop and support Connectivity solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, System Engineering, Program Management, and Product Line Management
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize customer reference designs and provide direction to customers
- Travel to support and partner sites, as needed
- Support the development of RF and WLAN design, RF test equipment, and RF PCB design
- Work with internal and external partners to support, optimize, and enable total radio solutions
- Resource allocation and tracking to ensure excellent internal and external customer support
- Ensure new team members are properly trained and mentored, and all team members are developing to their full potential
- Participate in the recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and on-boarding activities of top-notch talent
- BSEE + 15 years relevant technical experience or MSEE (preferred) + 12 years
- 6+ years' leadership experience
- Strong background in fundamental RF and systems design
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Strong data analysis skills
- Experience in Front End or Module level development
- Experience leading multidiscipline teams and working across boundaries
- Experience in team management
- Up to 25% travel (domestic & international)
