G S Homes Ltd is seeking a skilled Carpenter - Interior Finish Specialist to join our team. As an Interior Finish Carpenter, you will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials to create high-quality interior finishes.
Key Responsibilities- Layout Preparation: Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools to ensure accuracy and precision.
- Material Preparation: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to create smooth and seamless finishes.
- Installation: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to ensure a high-quality finish.
- Experience and Education: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, with a secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Work Setting: The ideal candidate will have experience working in a construction environment, with a strong understanding of building codes and regulations.
- Language and Work Hours: Fluency in English is required, with a minimum of 35 to 40 hours of work per week.
