About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Winnipeg Dig & Demolition Inc. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting in various construction tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by loading, unloading, and transporting materials as needed.
  • Formwork and Scaffolding: Help erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Demolition Support: Assist in the demolition of buildings, safely removing debris and materials as required.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work site by cleaning up chemical spills, removing rubble and debris, and piling salvaged materials.
  • Traffic Control: Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring the safety of workers and the general public.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: While experience is an asset, we are open to training the right candidate.
Work Environment

This is a green job that involves duties and responsibilities leading to positive environmental outcomes. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English. The typical work hours are 35 to 40 hours per week.
