Job Summary

Bertz Handy Works Ltd. is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install underground wiring and cables to ensure safe and efficient electrical distribution.
  • Splice, join, and connect wires to repair or replace damaged or faulty electrical components.
  • Troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical systems to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Install surface mount and/or overhead cables to meet the electrical needs of our clients.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs to ensure the longevity and reliability of electrical systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to understand electrical system designs and requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week
