We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Dining Server to join our team at Seasons Retirement Communities. As a Dining Server, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents and guests have an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve meals to residents and guests, ensuring high-quality service and attention to detail.
  • Take orders, set and strip tables, and serve food and beverages in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Unpack and store supplies, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and wash and clean dishes, cutlery, and equipment.
  • Operate and clean food equipment, furniture, and maintain the dining area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the dining service.

Requirements:

  • Covid-19 vaccination is mandatory.
  • Current Safe Food Handler's Certification.
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively, and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Demonstrate empathy and understanding of the needs of seniors.
  • Ability to organize work and work under strict time constraints.
  • High standard of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Ability to operate related equipment.
  • Experience working in a kitchen is considered an asset.
  • Ability to lift up to and including 50 pounds is considered an asset.
  • All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
