About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Damascus, Café and bakery. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment, preparing food, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety.
  • Food Preparation: Assist in preparing food, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that the kitchen is kept clean and organized.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by being friendly, attentive, and responsive to customer needs.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure that the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English or French.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
