About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Technician Construction Worker in Civil or Electrical Works to join our team at FNX-INNOV. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting the project manager in the execution of construction projects, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the project manager in the execution of construction projects, including the installation of electrical systems, building construction, and civil engineering works.
  • Monitor and supervise construction work, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and that the work is completed on time and within budget.
  • Prepare and submit reports and documentation to the project manager and other stakeholders, including quality control reports and compliance certificates.
  • Interface with the project manager and other team members to ensure that all aspects of the project are coordinated and completed efficiently.
  • Conduct quality control checks and ensure that all work meets the required standards.
  • Collaborate with the project manager and other team members to develop and implement project schedules and timelines.
  • Procure and manage construction materials and equipment.
  • Develop and maintain a list of outstanding tasks and non-conformities.
  • Monitor and report on project progress and milestones.
  • Perform other related tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle (Class 5).
  • Good knowledge of computer systems and software.
  • Autonomous, responsible, and analytical with a proactive approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French.
  • Valid ASP construction card.
  • Participation in Hydro-Québec training programs (an asset).
  • Dynamic, autonomous, and organized.
