We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Detailer to join our team at Steele Mitsubishi.
As an Automotive Detailer, you will be responsible for meticulously cleaning and restoring the interior and exterior of vehicles to a pristine condition. This includes thorough cleaning, polishing, and waxing of the car's surfaces, as well as attention to detail in restoring upholstery, carpets, and other interior components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect new vehicles for imperfections and report to management
- Apply products to interior and exterior surfaces of sold vehicles
- Buff vehicles as required
- Prepare new and used vehicles for optimal presentation
- Park vehicles appropriately on the lot and in delivery areas
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace
Requirements:
- Desire to work in a service department where teamwork and customer satisfaction are paramount
- Experience in cleaning vehicles is considered an asset but not required
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license, clean driver's abstract, and ability to drive a manual shift
- Be hardworking, self-motivated, and have excellent time management skills
- Facial hair may interfere with respirator seals; therefore, a clean shave is required
