Position Overview
The HRIS Systems Specialist plays a crucial role in providing analytical and technical assistance to the Human Resources division regarding HR systems. This position involves serving as a subject matter expert for our HRIS platform, configuring system solutions to meet organizational needs, ensuring the accuracy of HRIS database information, and delivering technical support across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer daily support for our Workday HRIS platform to a global user base, including ticket resolution, configuration, audits, and data uploads (EIBs).
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to define requirements and propose scalable system solutions that align with business objectives.
• Engage in hands-on configuration, testing, and documentation of system solutions.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve system issues and defects.
• Create new Time Off Plans tailored to business and regional specifications.
• Develop dashboards and advanced reports that fulfill business requirements.
• Seek opportunities to enhance and optimize system processes.
• Stay informed about new system features, updates, and best practices, sharing knowledge with the team to promote continuous improvement.
• Design and deliver training materials (e.g., process documentation, training sessions, communications).
Qualifications:
• Strong configuration experience in two or more Workday modules is preferred: core HCM, Absence & Time Off, Compensation, Security, Talent.
• Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and team members, articulating technical concepts in practical terms.
• Excellent critical thinking and creative problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and a solid understanding of the significance of data integrity.
• Exceptional prioritization and time management skills.
• Must be proactive and customer-oriented.
• Familiarity with Human Resources processes and concepts.
