About the Role

VistaCare Communications Services of Canada Inc is seeking a highly skilled Fibre Optic Network Designer to join our team. As a key member of our network infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing and developing information and communication system network architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Design and Development: Assess, document, and optimize the capacity and performance of information and communication system networks.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate teams of design professionals in the development and integration of information and communication system architecture, hardware, and software.
  • Research and Development: Research, design, and develop information and communication system network architecture.
  • User Requirements Analysis: Analyze user requirements and design and develop system architecture and specifications.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Windows.
  • Area of Specialization: Fibre optics, telecommunications, and networks.
  • Security and Safety: Ability to pass a criminal record check.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent interpersonal skills, oral communication, written communication, initiative, and organizational skills.
