Job Title: Retail Buyer

We are seeking a skilled Retail Buyer to join our team at Edmonton Tire & Lube Ltd. O/A New Millenium Edmonton Tire & Lube Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement product assortment strategies to meet sales goals and customer needs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms.
  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of merchandise to ensure adequate stock levels and efficient inventory management.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sales growth, improve product offerings, and enhance the overall shopping experience.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in retail buying or a related field.
  • Knowledge of product trends, market conditions, and competitor activity.
  • Ability to travel to trade shows and supplier meetings.
