Board-Certified Veterinary Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Internist to join our team at VCA Animal Hospitals. As a key member of our specialty team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the growth and success of our hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat complex medical cases, utilizing your expertise in internal medicine and critical care.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, working closely with our veterinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with our specialists, including cardiology, oncology, and ophthalmology, to provide comprehensive care to our patients.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development, staying up-to-date on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of hospital policies and procedures, ensuring a high level of patient care and customer satisfaction.
- Board certification in internal medicine or equivalent experience.
- Valid DVM degree or equivalent, enabling practice in Canada.
- License in Ontario or eligibility to be licensed with the CVO.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with our veterinary team and clients.
- Strong diagnostic and critical care skills, with expertise in ventilation and other complex medical procedures.
