We are seeking a skilled Barber to join our team at 9064-1788 Québec Inc. as a key member of our grooming services.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional haircutting and styling services to our clients. This includes cutting and trimming hair according to client preferences, shampooing, shaving and trimming beards and mustaches, and providing scalp conditioning massages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cut and style hair using various techniques, including blow drying, iron waving/curling, and perming.
  • Shampoo and condition hair, and provide scalp massages.
  • Shave and trim beards and mustaches, and apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair.
  • Clean and style wigs and hair pieces.
  • Suggest hair styles compatible with client's physical features and preferences.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a busy barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and safe working environment.

Language:

The primary language of work is French.

Work Schedule:

The work schedule is 40 hours per week, with a permanent employment contract.
