About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Engineering Technician - Mechanical Specialist to join our team at Titan Boats Ltd. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the design, construction, and maintenance of our marine vessels meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Assist in the inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects, and prepare design, drawings, and specifications for marine vessels.
  • Testing and Analysis: Conduct a limited range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components, and materials to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for marine vessel projects, and prepare standards and schedules for implementation.
  • Supervision and Inspection: Supervise, monitor, and inspect mechanical installations and construction projects to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Quality Control: Test machines and equipment to ensure they meet industry standards and are functioning properly.
Requirements
  • Education: A college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, manual dexterity, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
