Adhere to company and site rules, procedures, and expectations. Conduct pre-use inspections of vehicles, tools, and equipment, and maintain their conditions. Complete field-level risk assessments and all other HSE requirements prior to starting tasks. Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of the system. Report to the supervisor on shift. Measure, cut, and install pipes using tools and equipment. Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges. Assemble and install valves (2" to 24") and components.", "Education & Experience Required": "Dual Ticketed Journeyman Plumber. Some water-based fire protection system experience preferred and previous oil sand industry experience would be beneficial. Valid Class 5 Driver's License. Clean 5-year Driver's Abstract obtained within 30 days of start date. CSO (Common Safety Orientation) or equivalent safety ticket. WHMIS 2015. Good mathematical, scientific, mechanical, and logical reasoning abilities. Must be well organized and detail-oriented, able to follow instructions and clear orders, enjoy working with a range of different people each day, and have strong mechanical skills. Physical stamina required to use proper lifting techniques and execute tasks. Must be able to stand, crouch, and kneel for extended periods of time, sometimes work in cramped positions. Must have a safety-conscious attitude. Ability to work well with co-workers and deal with clients. Ability to get along well with others on a work team.
