Key Responsibilities- Actively manage the security of our cloud-native runtime environment to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.
- Clearly and promptly communicate and negotiate security technical topics with both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership and engineering teams.
- Drive security improvements to production cloud environments, identifying and mitigating potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Perform targeted offensive security testing to identify and address potential security weaknesses.
- Implement continuous monitoring systems and tools to automatically identify potential security issues at the code, application, and infrastructure layers.
- Conduct security audits in cloud environments to ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards.
- Review code and other production changes with the goal of maintaining the security standards and best practices.
- Develop documentation listing recommendations and best practices for infrastructure and organizational security standards.
- Stay current on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and controls for the cloud, and evolve the infrastructure to keep our stack up to date with the latest technologies.
