Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Training Instructor to join our team at Ford Motor Company. As a Service Training Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering hands-on service technical training to dealership technicians, ensuring they have the necessary skills to provide exceptional customer service and maintain the highest level of vehicle quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for dealership technicians, focusing on Ford/Lincoln products and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify training needs and develop customized training solutions.
  • Conduct training sessions in a classroom setting, as well as remotely using video-conferencing systems.
  • Travel to various Ford locations to provide training and support as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Ford/Lincoln products, technologies, and best practices to ensure training is relevant and effective.
Requirements
  • Certified Automotive Technician with Industry and/or Ford Accreditation.
  • Technical Automotive Training experience is an asset.
  • Experience in truck diesel engine repairs is an asset.
  • Good written and oral communication skills are required.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Previous shop foreman/training experience would be an asset.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual (English/French) is beneficial.
  • Proficient in Office365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
