Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Dismantler to join our team at Connexion Truck Centre Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently dismantling vehicles to recover reusable components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Disassemble vehicles to recover reusable components, such as engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
  • Identify and remove hazardous materials, such as batteries and fluids.
  • Use specialized tools and equipment to dismantle vehicles, including hydraulic presses and cutting torches.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and a focus on safety.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective dismantling operations.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Dusty, noisy, and outdoors work environment.
  • Urban area setting.
  • Mechanical specialization.
  • Criminal record check and bondability.
  • Public transportation available.
  • Manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and fast-paced work conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
  • Steel-toed safety boots and tools required.
  • Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, organized, and reliable personal suitability.
