Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Body Technician to join our team at Jim Keay Ford Lincoln. As an Automotive Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute repair work to ensure high-quality results
  • Clean and maintain a safe and organized workspace
  • Replace and repair front end, body, and underbody components
  • File, grind, and sand body surfaces to achieve a smooth finish
  • Mask and tape surfaces in preparation for painting
  • Use specialized equipment to straighten bent frames
  • Repair or replace interior components and damaged windows
  • Work efficiently to meet deadlines and maintain a high level of productivity
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the automotive body repair industry
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Physical stamina to lift and maneuver heavy equipment
