Position Overview

The Food Service Supervisor at Biryani Lounge plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our culinary team. This position requires a dedicated individual who can manage staff effectively while ensuring high standards of food quality and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Oversee and coordinate the activities of food preparation personnel.
  • Training: Instruct team members on their roles, emphasizing sanitation and safety protocols.
  • Resource Planning: Assess and estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Recruitment: Participate in the hiring process for food service personnel.
  • Financial Oversight: Develop budgets and prepare cost estimates for food services.
  • Customer Relations: Address and resolve any customer complaints or concerns effectively.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit detailed reports regarding food service operations.
  • Order Management: Compile food order summaries for the kitchen staff.
  • Quality Control: Supervise the assembly of food trays and the delivery of meals.
  • Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years and less than 3 years in a supervisory role within the food service industry.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
  • Language: Proficiency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: Full-time position requiring 40 hours per week.
